WilderBee Talent Camp - Social Media Creatives

Gurgaon, India

Overview

WilderBee Talent Camp is a program designed to discover and nurture young creative talent. The team approached me to help increase awareness and drive sign-ups through engaging visual content on social media.

The challenge was to make the brand stand out in a competitive space — and connect emotionally with their target audience of teens, parents, and educators.

My Role

- Visual Designer for social media campaigns
- Creative strategy support
- Collaboration with content writers

Problems

WilderBee Talent Camp needed to boost user registrations but lacked a consistent and visually engaging presence across social platforms.

Their key challenges were:

- Low engagement on existing social posts.
- Messaging that didn’t emotionally connect with their young audience.
- A need for quick turnaround and consistency across campaigns.

Goals

- Increase user sign-ups through better content design.
- Create visuals that resonate with teens and parents.
- Support storytelling through design across Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn.

My Process

1. Discovery & Content Sync

I worked closely with the content team to align on campaign goals and target personas. We mapped out a weekly content plan based on user interests and brand themes (creativity, confidence, exploration).

2. Visual Concepting

I designed visual templates and illustrations that:
- Reflected the youthful, energetic vibe of the brand.
- Balanced inspiration with clarity.
- Used bold typography, vibrant colors, and real-world scenarios.

3. Iteration & Publishing

Designs were adapted across platforms, with format-specific variations. I made sure each post was mobile-friendly, scroll-stopping, and on-brand.

Impact

- Increased registration interest within 2 weeks of campaign launch.
- Boosted engagement on Instagram and Facebook through carousel and story designs.
- Positive feedback from both internal team and audience on how the visuals felt more "alive" and purposeful.

What I Learned

Designing for a younger audience requires more than just color and fun, it’s about being relatable, emotionally clear, and staying adaptable to content needs. This project also deepened my collaboration with content writers and taught me how to visually support a narrative.
