I also managed a team of 5 engineers to ensure the final product was clean, fast, and intuitive.
Web App Design & Development
The platform was difficult for users to follow from onboarding through payout. Key parts of the experience including challenge progress, wallet changes, account switching, and getting started were unclear.
Challenge phases were unclear, making it hard for users to track their progress or understand what was required to qualify for a payout.
Demo and real wallets caused confusion, as users did not understand why balances reset or how funds moved between stages.
Managing multiple accounts was difficult, because users had to log out manually before switching between accounts and challenges.
Onboarding created drop-offs, as new users found it hard to understand the first steps and begin with confidence.
I redesigned the key journeys to make progress, wallet activity, account management, and onboarding easier to understand. The new experience gives users clearer guidance at every stage, reduces unnecessary steps, and helps them move confidently towards payout.
Added progress bars, status messages, and phase guides so users always knew what came next.
Visually separated demo and real wallets using color coding, icons, and contextual helper text.
Introduced an account switcher with labels, activity indicators, and memory of last-used profile.
Reduced the number of steps to make onboarding simpler and faster.
